Jesus instructed us to let our yes mean yes and our no mean no. Hint: Every single time I make a decision on the internet, commercials, buying something, etc. I now see Yes or Maybe Later. If I’ve said No then I talk back to my phone or computer and say, “I told you, No!” What their phrasing does is condition you to consider something you already said no to. By talking back you reinforce your ability to say no if you mean no. It also strengthens your faith and your intention to follow God’s Word. xo Angel
