Today's the day... my dinner at "The Island on Lake Travis." Yesterday, Laileigh and I packed our suitcases. "Do you have my swimsuit, Grandmama?" "Yes, right here..."
Also, yesterday, my girlfriend, Gigi, and I talked. "Can you come? That's where we met you know. That's where Mark taught Laileigh one of her first words, "Hallelujah," and her first stunt, "Leaning out over the waterfall." I'm going to talk about Genesis: The Creation Story & The Sabbath."
Gigi: "I'd love to but I'm getting ready for the Dallas Religious Broadcaster's Conference. You're coming to that, right?"
Angel: "Probably not. I'm focusing on this dinner. Mostly just my family is coming. This first one lets people know about the idea. I did this before in 2017, with the musicians. It's what I used to do at Chapelgate. We filmed 15. This one is similar but I'm speaking about my retranslation of Genesis 1-3. You HAVE to come."
Gigi: "I will if I can. You're videotaping your talk, aren't you?"
Angel: "Probably not. But I can just tell you what it says real quick now..." So I do.
Her jaw dropped. I knew it would. It changes the world.
