I'm working on editing Season 2 (I've already created everything) of my Austin Public television show, "Texas Tales from a Lone Star," which I began in 2014. After airing Season 1 I began writing short-stories more and to be more independent and have more control over it I changed from using their television studios and production equipment (mostly) to using my dad's company and bought my own equipment, like I had done previously at Chapelgate. He graciously gave me space to use and I've always had my own home studio regardless. We built a recording studio there, about $50k back in the 80s, in my home, the Lodge, up on the cliff. We produced my first two albums of my original music there. So I set up a similar studio at my dad's company near Austin a few years ago.
I have some of my work on my website but I have tons and tons in my personal files. I have really good stories and videos. I have 2 hours of a guy who was the roadie for Stevie Ray Vaughn in the early years. I have a local lady Rocker who is a Christian and one of the best guitarists you've ever seen. I have many local Austin area bands in local Austin venues, I have a ton more of Gabriel, Andy, and Mark. Gabe and I, in one, rent a motorcycle and ride all around the Oasis on Lake Travis, a multi-million dollar restaurant we have here overlooking Lake Travis. I have the Broken Spoke, Luckenbach, Galveston, San Antonio, Abilene, the Texas State Museum with Gabe, The Island on Lake Travis with Gabe, Gabe performing with some of our best Austin local pro-musicians, Andy taking everyone on a bluebonnet trail and camping, Mark at Andy's ranch, Mark's workshops in Oklahoma, Albuquerque, Nashville, Austin, the Dreamer's Cruise to Jamaica and Grand Cayman, the Johnny Cash Hideaway Ranch with Mark, Mark at Chapelgate, Andy building his Texas Saloon, giving Lai a ride on his tractor, Lai looking at his ranch and chickens, Songwriters in the Round at Andy's ranch, lots of those, with Lai.
I have tons of "Adventures in Swan" with Lai from picking strawberries, riding horses, exploring in a glass bottom boat, picking peaches, dozens and dozens and dozens. I probably have 100k files. I just got old and tired. There are 339 short-stories I've written on my website, free, and the first season of "Texas Tales from a Lone Star." I just finished my "Angel Creek" book, I still have to edit it and produce it but the writing is done. I've finished the entire "The Chapelgate Adventure Series" product line, long ago. So that just leaves turning all my stories into books and finishing turning all my videos into shows. It sounds like a lot but I've worked on it since 1985. So I just have to wrap it all up nicely for the complete set. I'm still writing but I finished "The Harvest of Chapelgate," and what I am writing right now will be a 3rd book which I'll probably tie to mythology. Something like "Chapelgate: the gods of Mount Olympus." I see it as the final and the idea is that the ancient Biblical Hebrew and Greek I retranslated in our King James English Bible surprisingly matches a lot of ancient mythology. I don't think people have grasped the depth of ancient mythology. They hear the word "myth" and think "fiction." That's not at all what I've found. I see them as having documented the spiritual realm. I'm matching the spiritual realm to science, to the physical realm. It's really surprising. I love it.
Lately, I've focused on reading 400 books I bought just for that reason, the 3rd and final book, and comparing the design of God's Word, I found in the ancient Bible scriptures, to science. They match. Fascinating. Anyway, mulling it over but I really need to finish turning the videos into properly formatted shows. I probably have 10 seasons worth. I was the weakest on editing which is why that got saved for last. Working on it (or reading and sleeping, depends, lol) xo Angel
