Since I'm working on a new YouTube channel today, for "Texas Tales from a Lone Star" that means I have to WAIT a lot while stuff uploads. So in between, I'm trying to figure out what the Bible story of Gideon is really talking about. I'm on the part where he chooses his men to fight the enemy based on how to best glorify God. He reduces his army to only 300 men. How and why? What does how they drink really have to do with it? I look for the deeper spiritual meanings behind all the Bible stories. I retranslated Judges Chapter 7, the first few verses about this, already today. But I am still not getting it. Starting over. This is like mining for gold. It is like the world's best adventure. I love this. These stories, correctly understood, give us the principles we need to guide our lives. (Because they actually work, if you can grasp it correctly.) xo
