I just created a new separate YouTube channel for "Texas Tales from a Lone Star." I have SO many videos. The problem with YouTube is that you can't prevent anyone from downloading your videos. The other problem is you can't CHANGE a video after you have published it. That means there is no room for an improved or corrected version without starting over from scratch. My website allows me to protect my material AND change my material. It also, however, doesn't display my work all at once so you can see the whole picture. YouTube is better at that. But YouTube has all their restrictions and hoops you have to jump through plus it is set up in such a way that they can eventually pretty much control your work. I want to control my own work. They also hold a carrot out that you will be able to eventually make money if you jump through all their hoops. No. You can't. That is an illusion they use because they control how many views you get. They don't tell you that and a lot of other stuff. So I'm trying the idea out again, knowing already I'll be limited to 10 videos today until they have verified I am who I say I am. Probably, I'll just get disgusted again and delete it all. But I just have SO much work I've done, SO many videos, a decade's worth. Oh well, here's try number 2, this month. xo HERE
