I listened to that song, “When God Ran" by Benny Hester just now. It opened up the memories of the period of my life when I was fed spiritually through listening to Contemporary Christian Music. I stopped doing that in the 1990's because the songs were no longer feeding me. It was like they all became homogenized AND all the best minerals and vitamins were removed. "When God Ran" had food in it. So it reminded me of the other songs I loved that contained deep spiritual food and inspiration.
