Johnny Cash in Jamaica, Organs, and Beware!

I'm writing about the upcoming cruise I'm going on, in two days, from Miami to Jamaica and Grand Cayman island. I have a half dozen or more stories now, on my website. The group, "Dinner with Dreamers," has a private Facebook group page we have been reading and posting on. I made a post a minute ago about Rose Hall and some other excursions. Here is what I said:

Angel: "I probably have more time than most because I'm retired plus I'm a natural bookworm. So I've been researching and researching and trying to really grasp Jamaica and Grand Cayman. Right now, I am watching a video about Montego Bay's "most notable church." I found it on the app, on the Royal Caribbean excursions under "Go Natural." It's probably on Expedia's too, I'm just going through all the excursions. They drive you around for 5 hours to really see Jamaica. Last night I got really involved in researching Rose Hall and I'll put that in the comments. If anyone sees anything interesting, feel free to add it to the comments. xo Angel"

The coolest thing I noticed about this church is the organ. Those old organs are special.

Now, for Rose Hall. I'm torn whether to go there or not. It appeals to me because I love museums and old houses. But they say this one is haunted. I've been watching videos and reading and it is my opinion that it really IS haunted. On one hand I'd sort of like to experience that, the energy in the air they describe. On the other hand, I think it is seriously haunted due to the fact that the lady they call the "White Witch" of Rose Hall was not only a serial murderer of her husbands and slaves but had a practiced chosen spirit of hurting others. I read that a maid went out on her bedroom balcony (long after the lady's death) and a force pushed her off and she died. Other videos said the lady's spirit seems to still be there, not only her but dozens of the people she harmed, and her slave's spirits, she harmed or killed. I think that if you go into an environment like that you could possible get more than you bargained for because it may be possible that the energy attaches to you yourself. So, if anyone chooses this one I'd like to suggest you pray sincerely before and after going there that you are under our father's protection, we always are, but that he puts a shield around you. I'll go find what I was watching...

Jamaica is known to have an historical association with Voodoo. That is the what is behind the story of the White Witch, who was a practitioner of Obeah. Google quote: "The story states that she was born in Haiti to an English mother and Irish father and spent most of her life in Haiti. When her parents died of yellow fever, she was adopted by a nanny who taught her witchcraft and voodoo. She moved to Jamaica and married John Palmer, owner of Rose Hall." HERE

Here, take a look:

One of our Dreamer's special places is the Johnny Cash Hideaway Farm in Tennessee. HERE

Well, I read Johnny Cash bought the plantation house next door to Rose Hall and wrote a song about the White Witch, "The Ballad of Annie Palmer." HERE

So we could actually go document Johnny Cash in Jamaica for our stories/videos while we are there if we wanted to. His is called "Cinnamon Hill."
