Swan

Say hello & welcome to my new “Adventure Van” “Swan.” She is my 4th van but my 3rd “Swan.” My first van was a 1989 GMC 2500 I bought brand new in 1989. I practically raised my kids traveling in that van to all kinds of cool places. “Swan” was my sailboat’s name in my fiction fantasy book, “Island.” I began naming my adventure vans that. I hadn’t written “Island” yet when I bought my first van. However, my sailboat concept was influenced by my love for my van. So I guess I will retroactively name my first van “Swan.” That makes this one my 4th. My second “Swan” was a 1988 GMC 2500. I bought it in 2011. My 3rd was the beautiful piece of ocean themed art I bought from my friend, artist Roland Dempsey near Orlando about 2-3 years ago. This is my 4th and I just bought her this week. I created a Facebook page, “Adventures in Swan” about the same time I bought Roland's. So now our adventures can continue. First, however, are the repairs. It is really fun to fix up/repair old vans. There’s a whole bunch of people doing that now. Just google “van life.” I think I was one of the first though. I’ve adored all my vans. I love my new “Swan.” Here we go! xoxo Angel
