On to the next one... Now, I'm working on creating a video for "Texas Tales from a Lone Star" that has been on my mind to create for several years. It was just never the right time. Plus I took a detour for 5 years and created all my "Angel Creek" short-stories. I'm focusing on my "Texas Tales" videos at the moment. This is going to be a good one.
It's the first time Gabriel flew from Orlando to Austin to help me. Bear in mind, I had met some really good professional local musicians by this point. But Gabe was flying in to perform with some of them for the very first time. They had never laid eyes on each other before, much less performed together. I was relying on my local best contacts and jam nights that provided drums. I was also looking for the best musicians I had met in Austin who could play the songs I knew Gabe knew, mostly Classic Rock.
So part of the fun of the videos is to watch this in action. It takes a whole higher level of musician to pull this off. It's not always smooth sailing. But it is a testament to the skill and talent of the musicians I filmed. Working on it... Let's just say 2014 North Shore and thank you SO much Jim. xo Angel
